Jerry Johnson, Jr., age 78, of West Des Moines, died on Wednesday, December 21 at UnityPoint Taylor House Hospice after a prolonged illness. Olive Cemetery, Trail, MN later in the spring. Jerry was predeceased by his parents James and Helen Johnson, brother Jim Johnson, and wife Ginny Johnson. She is survived by : her husband Owen Verlan Johnson; her daughters, Melissa Marshall (Paul) of Englewood and Reva Sawyer (Thomas) of New Carlisle; her grandchildren, Clint, Jennifer, Jesse, Amanda, Jeremy "Jay", Jarrod and Jacob; her son-in-law Bob Hooten; and her siblings, Delores Blankenship, Gayle Amburgey (K. C.) and Bill Thomas (Gwen) of Kentucky.
